ReplyDeleteI have some questions about the labor law.
My Brother works in a franchised food chain for about 6 months , he's not a regular employee yet.
He had an accident while at work. A pot of boiling soup scalded his arm and both feet.
The manager OIC at that time cant was busy in his office and cant be disturbed. My brother waited for an hour but he was not assisted by the manager. He informed his co workers that he cant bear the pain anymore and that he needed to go home and rest. Hospital was not an option at that time because he does not have the money to do it.
He was able to come to work the following day, but with extreme pain and difficulty. He informed the shift manager of the accident that happened the previous day which in turn informed his superiors. (Manager OIC and a certain lady handling the reimbursements.
He was sent to the hospital the next day, and requested assistance from the company but he did not received a direct answer. The only thing promised was a call from the OIC manager which was not done. This happened January 22nd, this year but we still dont have any news on their plans to assist with the hospitalization and medical bills.
I feel that the company should have at least covered the medical bills, but i'm not sure if this is correct. Can we file a case? Please advice us.

ReplyDeleteKinasuhan ko po yung tatay ng 3 kong anak (5,2,and 6 months) ng RA 9262 may lumabas na po na resolusyon last August 2014 at nakitaan po ng probable cause for Economic Abuse. Nakapag pyansa na din po sya under surity bond. Pero until now po binabaliwala nila yung kaso. Ang dahilan po nila ay "Bakit pa daw po magbibigay ng suporta e nakademanda na) pangatlong paghaharap na po namin sa rtc sa March 31 2015. Tanong ko po:
1.Pwede ko po ba dagdagan kaso nya ung RA 7610?
2.Pwede ko din po ba ireklamo ang mga magulang nya na numero unong naharang at ayaw pasuportahan ang mga bata? naturingang Public Teacher at Pulis pa man din. Gusto ko po kasi ipakulong nalang ng diretso para matuto sila na hindiclahat kaya nila tutal po hindi naman sila tao kausap.
3.Tama po ba na irason nya/nila palagi na "Walang Pera" "Walang Trabaho" "Maliit ang sahod" pero panay nman po ang pagpapasarap sa buhay
4.Maari po ba sya makulong nalang talaga?

HI po good day. I would like to ask for your opinions or suggestion re my situation. I resigned from my work last Feb. I gave my resignation letter 15 days before my last day. My reason for my resignation is that my wife and newborn will be relocating to bacolod city. Now, ayaw pirmahan ng supervisor ko ang clearance ko. He kept on giving me different reasons everytime. 1St meron daw variance sa January na inventory and need pa daw mag wait na MA adjust ang inventory before pirmahan. E March na and as of what I know, January inventory dapat na days after the month end inventory naayos na yan. Another reason nya naman is nasa Manila daw sya for seminar wait ko nalang na bumalik sya. Then another reason naman is wait nalang daw na pirmahan ng manager ang clearance eh ung manager daw nasa Manila pa may training. Mag 2 months na po nd pa po MA release ng hr ang backpay ko kasi wla pang clearance. Then I raised this concern with my hr. Sabi ng hr picture.ran nalang daw ung clearance ko kahit wlang pang sign ng manager to see if nilalakad talaga ung clearance ko. And now ayaw pictureran ng supervisor
